Hello again, Internet(ers?). Sorry about the two-day delay in blogs. I've just been at Carman's little cabin out in Index. It was fun.
Here's the deal, the Blog Sandwich will work because I've got two days' worth of blogs with me on my iPod. Please excuse the dates, for they are not the dates of today, which is stated above, obviously.

So we're at Carman's cabin (again, GREAT hotdogs**). We saw the Big Tree and the Big Rock and they both seriously fit the title. One big tree right there, my friends. (There might eventually be a picture here, but I doubt it, sorry.)
We hung out with this little girl whose about eight or so, actually seven. She's super full of energy and a bit annoying. Worse than ME annoying. It was pretty awful, but she's gone now. Her parents lost a dog, too. It's the most adorable dog ever and it was startled by some pre-Fourth fireworks. I hope they find it. I'm praying for them.

Happy Fourth, everybody! It was a fun day. There were limited fireworks in the sky, but we had a variety of other ones including poppers, sparklers, smoke bombs, and other ground objects (like these super awesome tank things that shot flaming bullets!!). I thought they were cool.
Galena, the dog, will be very much burnt tomorrow. Every firework was threatened by Galena, and vice versa. She annoys the crap out of everyone with fetch, rubbing her wet pelt on everyone, and just getting in the way, but she's a great dog. A chocolate lab, in case you were wondering.
We had a lot of fun, and it was amazing.
