So I just had a short conversation with my Grandpa. Since it's midnight, almost 1 A.M., he suggested all of us just staying up all night since none of us were alseep anyway and then sleeping on the plane (since it's FIVE HOURS!). I told him this:
"Well, I'm working my way there right now, but either way, if I stay up all night and not sleep or stay up really late and sleep a little, I'll still be able to sleep on the plane, so everything's working out for me."
I just thought I should say that while it was fresh in my mind.
Anyway, I'm leaving TECHNICALLY today, since, as I said before, it's already past midnight. The flight's at eleven... so we're getting up at six thirty. Yeah, but it'll work out. We get up at six thirty, leave at seven, get to the airport by eight, and then we have three hours to go through luggage swap-a-ma-diggy and security, eat breakfast (or lunch, depending on what time it is after the luggage swap-a-ma-diggy), and then have about an HOUR to wait to board the plane which will probably be filled with tears, excitement, and a variety of seasonal fruits.
Also, in case you were wondering about the title, I really want to go home for two days (and camp) because I'll get my own bed again! Yup. A fourteen-year-old, almost thirteen-year-old, and an eleven-year-old are all squishing together every night for bed in a queen-sized blow-up matress in a lofty room that is SUPER hot right now because Everett has hit record-high heat today at 80-some degrees.
