Skate Deck, McDonalds, and Airplanes

7/06/2010

Hello again, it's 9:20 PM in Nashville, so it's seven, here. Yay, numbers!(?)

So anyway, today we FINALLY did something! Even though we're leaving the day after tomorrow, that is. We went to the Skate Deck. It's about half of a mile from my grandparent's house. It's not far. My mom used to always go there and stay ALL DAY. They used to know the owner, but he's not the same dude as before and by that, I mean there's a different owner of the same place. Well, we were there (we, being my two sisters, and I) with Kory and his sister who is my age, Kiera. We skated, stared at people who skated, laughed at falling people, laughed at Kory who fell and nearly slammed his face into the wall, and ate super-hot French fries that took ten minutes to get.

It was all really fun, but I think the Skate Deck isn't as good as the Skate Center, even though the distance from here to the Skate Deck is less than five minutes and the distance from our house in Nashville to the Skate Center is about half-an-hour.

We went to McDonalds afterwards. I had Chicken McNuggets because I'm cool like that. (P.S. The Happy Meal toys for the Airbender movie that's coming out are all super violent!!) Anyway, McDonalds. I had my camera with me since I took some pictures and a dark video at the Skate Deck, I decided to capture a moment of Madison. I think I should change that. A Moment of Madison. See what I did there?

ANYWAY^2, here's the picture:

Yup. There's Madison sippin' on a McDonalds drink. (P.S. I'm not advertising, I promise!)

So we're leaving in two days. After those two days, I'll have two days at home before I venture off the Ashland City. There, I'll be going to camp to ride a few horses and possibly fall off (which has happened to me before because of a rabbit...). So yeah, I'll have very few days that I will use to (1) buy a few extra things to take along with me and (2) wash everything in my suitcase right now so I won't even have to worry about packing clothes.
So yeah.
