Birthdays and Burp Days

08/09/2010

Sorry for the delay, ever'body, but there is no accessable Interwebs at my dad's apartment unless I'm at our neighbor's apartment and I prefer not to go there unless only about two people are there (otherwise, it is utter chaos). Anyway, I have news!

1. My birthday is (subtract the nine...) FOUR DAYS!!! Yeah. I'm gonna be thirteen (finally). Most people would probably think I was older if I never told my age, but whatever. People can believe whatever they want to, I s'pose.

2. I finally got my babysitting job. Madison came with me, and for that, I am eternally grateful (though my hand won't forgive her)(That story comes later). ANYWAYS, I had to watch a five-month-old baby girl named Alexandra and a four-year-old boy named Phillip. They were both pretty well-tempered/-mannered. Alexandra did good until an hour away from the end when she started crying. We thought she might need a nap, but she just woke up. We thought she was lonely, so we played with her. FINALLY, it was four o'clock and we could feed her and it solved all probalems. Karen, the mom, came and picked us up.

When we were about five minutes from the house, Phillip had to use the bathroom. He used the one at our house (and took his time!) and when the boys (Hudson and Graham), Kyle, and Mallory got home, he just happens to walk out of the bathroom without pants. (Rare emote: XD) Hudson, who was the first person to walk in the house keeps going on about it like it's super hilarious, which it was, but I mean, come on. So yeah.

. . .

Hey! Ben Jamin' is here! Ben... something... I'll fill that in later. Okay, so yeah, he's here. He's a talented musician who we're begging to put his stuff on iTunes. I'm pretty sure he's got a MySpace with his music on it, but I don't know if it's still there. So when I fill in his last name, look him up on MySpace, okay? DO IT!! Listen to "Little Red Dime" or "Free Bird" if it's there. They're pretty awesome. (Teehee Moment - "Civilation!") In "Free Bird", he was going to use the word "civilation" when he realized that's not a real word... so it's civilization now.

Yeah. He's cool. Check 'im out.
